The Furniture Depot, a special project of Mary’s Wish, is looking for all types of gently used furniture including mattresses. The Furniture Depot will pick up the furniture and distribute it to low income and working poor families.

The Mn Landscape Arboretum located near Chaska off of Hwy 5, is a great spot for photos. It is so beautiful there and you walk around leisurely and stop to take photos. I have been a member for 9 years so I know it well. If you are looking for flowers or great fall colors it is the place to go.

This is a once in a lifetime photo session. You never know what you will get. smiles and giggles, or tears. We had a little of both this day. It is messy, you supply the baby and cake and I will provide the clean up! And the photos of course.

When taking a larger family portrait be sure to expect a little extra time for the session. The more people to get looking at the camera (especially little ones) requires patience. Having a beautiful portrait of all your loved ones is truly priceless.

Even if the light isn't "perfect" I can always manage it to look great. I think these senior photos turned out fantastic, between the clothing choices, backgrounds and of course the girl, they are beautiful.

When taking business portraits just be yourself. Dress up how you normally would and wear your hair and makeup as usual. I always tell my clients that your goal should be to look friendly and approachable. You want them to say call me, stop by, I would value you as a customer.

I love photographing kids of all ages. There is no right age to bring them in for portraits. This beautiful girl is 11, that magical age between being little and being a teen. She was really funny. Aren't her eyes fantastic?

This is my most recent wedding I photographed at Island view Golf course. Despite the imminent bad weather we got out there and got some beautiful photos. This couple was so easy and laid back. They were a pleasure to work with. They didn't have a care in the world they just enjoyed each other and it is reflected in these images.

I had this beautiful family in the studio today. Young kids can be tough to capture but as you can see we got some great images. The white shirts and jeans always look good and on almost any color background. This will be a photo they will always treasure.

I had a great session with a 5 year old. She came in with pigtails and a great smile. I think it is so important to capture all these ages before school starts. Most people skip between the one year and Kindergarten but that is a huge gap in time. Not to mention if school photos are how you will be remembering your child they won't be all that thrilled with those. (Mine aren't too pretty) Occasional portraits though out your child's life will be cherished and worth the investment.

This couple has a June wedding planned this year.

We had a laid back session which served several purposes. First to get some great shots of the two of them. Second to get a feel for how they are in front of the camera and third to have a chance to talk and get to know each other better. We accomplished all three!
